One year ago I released Mycelium Music - a tripper’s ode to the uncomfortable beauty derived from ruthless experimentation in the ambient music realm. “𝘔𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘴 1: 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳-𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴” is from the Mycelium Music sessions, and the first in a series of previously unreleased selections from a mushroom-inspired musical universe indebted to a personal aesthetic of sound design, and texture - recorded at home in Los Angeles, and Big Sur CA.

When I was contributing to the @andre3000 New Blue Sun album, my sonic signature was deemed “Mycelial Electronics” by mentor #CarlosNiño - Carlos continues in the role of a producer and facilitator for Dré & Dré’s current creative projects surrounding the New Blue Sun direction, and has inspired me to continue unearthing my experimentations through a new series of digital singles.
