Roxanne Harris composes some recordings directly in source code. For others, she uses a custom event-timeline system to preserve the timing and sequence of earlier edits and replay them in later performances. This lets her return to those moments with their timing and logic intact. She crystallizes the resulting live sessions through arrangement and mixing while retaining overtones of their emergence.
